YB3-315M-4 132 kW 4 Pole Flameproof Asynchronous Motor

The BM YB3-315M-4 completes our four pole flameproof range at 132 kW. Built on the 315M cast iron frame with an Ex d IIC T4 Gb enclosure, it drives large pumps, compressors and conveyors in Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas while the IE3 winding keeps efficiency at 95.2 percent on continuous duty.

A: Yes. 132 kW is available as YB3-315M-2 at 2980 r/min, YB3-315M-4 at 1485 r/min and YB3-355L-6 at 985 r/min, all with the same Ex d IIC T4 Gb approval.

Q: How do I choose the number of poles?
A: Choose by required shaft speed: 2 pole for fans and centrifugal pumps, 4 pole for general pumps and conveyors, 6 pole for ball mills, crushers and screw conveyors.

Q: Are the mounting dimensions interchangeable with old YB2 or YBX motors?
A: Yes. IEC frame dimensions follow the standard Y series footprint, so direct replacement normally needs no base modification.
